KIET College of Media & Arts models its curriculum to incorporate entrepreneurial direction in the minds of its students from day one. Our entire course structure has been developed to encourage students to create business ideas and launch their own startups when they graduate. Students start freelance work from second semester onwards taking up design and video projects. From the fourth semester, they start taking on larger projects and animations. By the time they are ready to leave, the students have already developed a great portfolio, an understanding of the industry and contacts with professionals in the field.
As a result, 70% of our graduates are business owners or entrepreneurs. AGXP Studios, Xplosiv Studios, Knack – the visual art, Negative Productions, Focus N Focus, Studio Friday and Cartolina are just some of the examples of the businesses CMA students have built from scratch.
